Hill La Ferté should be ready for unveiling by the end of October. The Tower Hill memorial, will not be ready till some weeks later.

Between 11,000 and 19,000 officers and men of the Mercantile Marine, who died as the result of enemy known. action, and who have no graves, are to be commemorated oa Tower Hill. The design by Sir Edwin Lutyeas is a great vaulted corridor, in whose three bays the names of the 11,000 are being in- scribed.

Great interest will be felt in the fine memorial under construction Sunset. in the Faubourg d'Amiens, which 6.06, p.m. is to be tho special memorial to the missing members of the Royal Air Force in France.
