Roads from Moretinhampstead and Yel verton and Tavistock, which all converge on Princetown, are then black with motor traffic. The great open space in the centre of Prince- town, opposite the Duchy Hotel, 'is soon. packed with motor-coaches, and motor-ears, each of which dis charges its load of visitors.

12.-Scottish Company, Thursday, October 4th, 1928: Platoons will parade at 5.30 p.m. for Machine Gun Instruction, dress mufti, as follows:-.
Mr. Tucker stated that, in con- sequence of police evidence that day,, he would communicate with the Home Seeretary on the subject. The case under consideration was one of obstruction, caused by an un attended motor-car near the prison The car, which, it was stated, was. left for fourteen minutes, held up forty or fifty apother motorcars and motor-coaches. The practice was for cars and motor coaches to be driven up the road and back for the passengers to see the prisoners at work.
Police Superintendent Joslin said that the road was no longer under the control of the prison authorities.
