On the Civil Service ground the rinks led by Taylor and Booker gained a margin sufficient to give them a victory over the Kowloon C.C. Skip Massey was not so for- tunate in the early stages as with the score seven all he was held down for seven successive heads during which the visitors gained a lead of 12 shots, but he made a wonderful recovery after the ten interval and eventually lost by only one shot.
The Recreio "A" team gained a creditable victory over the Bowling Green to whom they lost by 3 shots in the earlier game. The score was even on one rink and the visitors were beaten on the others. The Recreio rink led by Luz, which has been a consistent winner, again re- gistered a good victory.
Taikoo at home defeated the the Yacht Club, but the way Yachtsmen held their opponents on an away ground and lost by so a margic is evidence of their improving form.
