Reports from the vernacular papers state, that the Fengtien delegation has come to an agreement in principle with the Nation- alista Chang Hsuch Liang will follow this up by issuing an announcement of Manchurig's allegiance to the Nationalist Govern- ment, thus formally putting an end to the state of war between. the two parties.

According to a report from the vernacular papers, the Diplo- matic Corps held a meeting last Tuesday to discuss the attitude which they should adept towards the Nationalist proposals for treaty revision.
