JONSIGNEES per Co.'s Steamer A gang of 14 kidnappers, two of CONSIGN "BECTOR" whom were women, appeared in there hereby notified that the Cargo will be Provisional Court, yesterday, for discharged into Edie's Wharf, Kowloon, where it will be at Consignees' risk and judgment. Six of the accused were arrested in a raid at 1114, Baikal Road, when three pistols and a quantity of ammunition were found. A search of the premises revealed a pair of leg irons, and a man who had been kidnapped was also released. The victim had been kidnapped by the gang in mistake for his master 20 days previous to his release, and he stated that his master had been kidnapped on a previous occasion and that he had paid the ransom. The other four members of the anng were arrested in the Yih Ping Shang Hotel in Thibet Road, where they had secured a room for the purpose of conducting negotiations for the ransom of their victim- N.-C. Daily News.
