ALLIANCE OF BIG FINANCIAL INTERESTS.

[ROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
LONDON, April 91st The King and Queen are spending a quiet time at Windsor Castle where they went for a holiday be fore Easter. The visit to Windsor is always for them something in the nature of a rest curé, for they are able to pursue their own hobbies in a way that is impossible in the more formal atmosphere of Bucking ham Palace. On the present occa sion the King has taken a number of stamp albums to the Castle and" is engaged in classifying and enter ing additions to his collection, which is already one of the most extensive and valuable in the world. Queen Mary, in addition to giving her personal supervision to the re- arrangement of certain rooms, finds pleasure in doing a lot of fancy, needlework and knitting. This she has been heard to declare brings her greater relaxation than any other occupation from the strain of her high position
