GOOD BRITISH RETURNS.

Of the nine British arrivals dur- ing the 24 hours ended at 9 a.. yesterday eight discharged cargo for this port, amounting to over 9,000 tons. Of the 19,403 tons of general cargo carried through for ports beyond, only one foreign Vessel carried 300 tons of cargo. The remainding 13,000 tons were Vessels: carried by five British There were sixteen arrivals and eighteen departures during the period under review.
