THREE BOAT-WOMEN FIÑED.

Three mistresses of cargo-beats appeared before Commander J, B. Nowill, D.S.0.,

at the

Marine Court yesterday morning. Thes were charged with mooring their craft alongside the Hong Kong and, Ynumati Ferry Wharf at Hong Kong, thereby obstructing the free access of other vessels in the Harbour.

All three defendants pleaded guilty to the charge and a fine of $10 with the alternative of 10 days' imprisonment was imposed in each Asiatic Deck Passangers. Asiatic deck passengers arriving in the Colony during the hours ended at 9am. yesterday numbered 083. They were brought by, five
