The China Exhibition which is being held in the Church Hall and grounds of St. Andrew's, Kowloon, was opened yesterday, Most unfortunately, the weather was not very propitious but never- theless quite a large crowd were assembled soon after. 3 o'clock, and, as the afternoon wore on more and more people were enter. ing what is certainly one of the most interesting" exhibitions of the sort ever planned.

To many people the large matshed in which Chinese craftsmen were at work was the greatest attraction and all those who re membered the marvels of Wembley were glad that the organisers of this exhibition had saved them the many wearisome, steps and bewildering universality of Wembley. For St. Andrew's ground are compact, and the exhibition has been admirably arranged, so that" one can see and buy in comfort, and without any sense of the ugly and the makeshift which so often mar the beauty of the surround- ings when charity fêtes are in progress, ...."
