FIGHTS BROADCASTED AT LEE THEATRE:

Lee Theatre on Saturday night was quite full for the gala boxing tournament, held under the auspices of the Hong Kong Boxing Association. There were 1,500 fans present; the gate receipts being over 80,000. And to give it a real stadium touch, the fights were, for the first time in the history of Hong Kong.. broadcasted by radio at the roof of the Lés Theatre, sut
The bouts were also up to the "stadium" standard; particu Jany the big fight between Morris and Morrell Morris, of course, had more to lose then his opponent, and it therefore beboved him to put forward his very last ounce of energy and science.
