There were only eight vessels arriving in the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9 am yesterday and the freights for this port were very low. Through cargo for ports beyond the Colony, however, was fair. There were only four vessels with cargoes for ports beyond the Colony,

The former arriving from Copenhagen and Aden carried 8,033 tons, and the latter from Yokohama and Moji had 2,343 tons.

Tho as. On Lee failed to arrive en time Tuesday night and it was feared that the vessel had been stranded. However the ship ar rived yesterday morning at 11.30 and the master reported that the delay was due to the heavy fog and bad weather; he also stated that during the passage from Kongmoon to Wangmoon, the vessel had bean. compelled to less than six times to drop sachor and await clear weather.

A Lost Torpedo.
In a notification to the Harbour Office yesterday, a reward of $30 is offered by the Naval Authorities for the recovery of a lost torpedo (a 2 mark IV star S.R., torpedo) which was lost from one of the H.M. Ships on Saturday, February 25th in a position approximately Lat. 29 17 N. and Long. 11 40". E.
Indistinct Fog-horn.
The master of the s. Tipanar (Dutch) arriving here' from Sourabaya and Manila ceports that the fog-horn of Waglan was very indistinct to the leeward, so much so that it could not be heard at a distance of a miles, while to the landward the fog-horn was very clear.
Asiatic Deck Passengers. Asiatic deck passengers arriving in the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday totalled 130. These were carried by four vessels.
