The total amount of general mer- chandise discharged for Hong Kong, today. was 9,163 tons. Of this rum 3,290 Afrike, Mar. 28th tons were from three British vessels, Malaya, April 7th. the two best carriers being the 9.3.

Danmark, May 25th. Taiynteu Maru (Japanese) and the Han Fang (British). The former arriving from Saigon and Vanfong Bay carried 2,800 tons of ree, and, the latter from Saigon carried 2,200 tons of rice.

Through freights amounted to 11,600 tons, of which two British steamers were responsible for 1,000 tons. The two best returns were shown by the Tenessee (Norwegian) with 6.10 tons of general cargo from Oslo and Manila; and the

Taiyetru Maru (Japanese) with 2400 tons from Vanfong Bay and Saigon.
