[By R.H.H.]

Such evcungs" pa vlast „Saturday or yesterday make one long for the later train from Fauling.. On Satur

plenty of light at 6.20, and on a day, for instance, there was still

hot day the evening round is the best of the day. "Anyhow, the en- thusiast has adays in hopes Tush to get down to the station by the last train, and has to argue the point between an extra 3 holes fo lowing the afternoon round or tea and a bath.

If only the later train were run- 1ning everything wond be different. But that is a thing which will not happen, I am airad, for at least two mouths when the new tune table comes. A tran at 7.20 would give time for tea, bath, and two full rounds after tiflin for there who want thru Also I expect that number of players, who think that

afternoon rout anough, would nevertheless be quite pleased not to have to burry away from the club house quite so carly as is nt present reccemary,

Galf after all does not stop short at the eighteenth ho.. There is plenty of it played in the chab house, and it is horribly diffult to be able only to cast an envious glance at those who are staying out for the night or who possesa cars, before rushing away from a stil! sumit course to cates the last train,
