THROUGH CARGO NORMAL,

With only ten vessels arriving here during the 24 hours ended at

m. yesterday freights manifest ed for parts beyond the Colony re mained normal, although lower than the previous day. Cargo to this port, however was low.

There were 8,882 tons of general merchandise imported, of which.

Two Chinese coxawains, of the 'Japanese motor-boats Shin -Maru and Zem Patan Maru respectively. were charged before Comdr. G. F. Hole, at the Marine Court yester day morning with carrying danger- ous goods and anchoring their craft other than the anchorage allotted for dangerous goods.

The former earried 1,390 tins of kerosene, while the latter had on board 500 tins of kerosene.

The sergeant, an evidence, stated that both the craft in question were found moored between a number of big junks The defendants pleaded guilty and said that they had pat in for shelter.

His Worship pointed out that they had committed offence and that they had endanger- ed others by their artion. Both de- fendants were fined $100.00 or 2 months' imprisonment.
