The Drawing Card. The chief drawing card is the Erst appearance, of Jose Pintos da Silva in the local ring. Silva is tenderfoot. He means fought several gruelling fights in South Africa nid just before his ship Telt there, he decisively made himself the middleweight champion, Silva recently fought ten tard rounds against Iron Bux at Macao, and although the decision was a draw the spectators, and Bux him- self, declared that Silva was the better man.
Silva possesses a sledge hammer punch and is very fast. He is so hardened that nothing can shake him. On board the Portuguese transport Prva d'Alenquer, his shipmates are strongly confident that Silva will win. He is in frat class condition and his sparring partners are going about showing his handiwork on their faces
The Coming Champion. Silva is down to fight Signalman Morris of H.M.S. Argus, for the Middleweight Championship of the Colony. The bout is sebeduled for. 15 rounds.
Morris is well-known among local fans and is regarded sa the coming champion of the Colony. Every man whom Morris had been match- ed against with in the past has gone down before his hard hitting. This will be Morris's first severe test. In the last tournament Morris gava" away a stone and successfully knock- ed out his man in the closing rounds.
Hall And Frazer Again, L.S. Hall who won on point over Marias Frazer in the "last tourna ment, will fight 10 rounds against the same opponent in the welter- weight class. These two men put up a splendid fight the last time. Hall piled up points in the first few rounds, and although Frazer wae coming up strongly towards the end, he was unable to square tip.
Frized was not satisfied with the decision and at the termination of the fight be issued a challenge to |fight Hall again. This was accepted and the two men will be on their mettle 'to-morrow night,
Other Fighter.
Other fighters to appear in to morrow night's tourner are all known here. Sharples and Harris will be matched again for the third time. Both men are willing mixers and a keen fight is anticipated.
Pte. Hume, of the K.O.S.B., who. has always been a delight to watch, will go six rounds with Signalman Shons, of H.M.S. Seraphis. Hume. has on one occasion defeated Shons, and as there is an old score to wipe out, the fight will be gruelling.
