Judgment was given yesterday in the Supreme Court by the Chief Justice in the case in which Ching Wen Hsu, living at the Tung Shan Hotely. Connaught Road West, sued the motor vessel Zuilin, at present lying at Yaumati Typhoon Shelter, for $8,147,50, being the price of necessaries supplied to the vessel between the mouths of January and March, 1097. The case was heard on January 6th and involved important questions of jurisdiction.

Hong Kong residents will hear with very great regret of the death: of Dr. H. Lovett Cumming, which occurred in Shanghat last Friday, Dr. Lorent.
