To-day is the 19th day that two Soviet Russians are on, hunger strike in a Chinese gnol in Sco- chow.
In telling their chle, it is not necessary to go into the rights or wrongs of the original arrest. The five Russians are Soviet citizens; two have been, military advisers and one 3 connected with General Ho Lung's army which at- tempted a Communist coup d'état at Swatow. What is important to foreigners and to those Chinese who are interested in the abolition of extraterritoriality is the pro- cedure what has been fallowed in this ta. The five Russians are: Jaerph Socal (alias Zilbert); Michael Kamanine (alias Zigon); Michael Berg; and Mr. and Mrs. Verger. Soent had been military adviser to Generals Tan Yen Kni, Li Chi Sen, Wu Te Chen and E Tih Ping. Kaminine had been advisor to General Li Chung Jen and General Ho Lung.
