The upkeep of courses has cost more this year than in the previous sae, but this is owing to expenses at Happy Valley and Deep Water Bay the upkeep of Fanling is placed at a sightly lower "figure

Reserves: LOppenheim, H. than it was a year ago. Even if it were not so, the upkeep of his Braga, E. K. Lim "course is the one expense about

which

golfer cannot really grumble.

The balance carried forward from 1920 was $86,412, and this has been Increased by 88,697 to 803,110, & very satisfactory profit on the year's working. It is noticeable that very liberal allowances are made for depreciation, a sure sign

about its affairs.
