THE HONG KONG DAILY PRESS, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th,' 1927.

In spite of their differences the lenders of the Nanking and Canton Kuomintang have been able to hold another meeting prior to the much-discussed Fourth Kuomintang Conference. It would "appear that through the mediation of Marshal Chiang Kai Shek, who is "neutral," the friction between the factions was tempor- arily qualled. There were, however, some "lively passages "be tween Mr. Wang Ching Wai and Mr. Sun Fo. The former is re- ported to have complained against the allegations of Communism brought against him and his Cantonese colleagues. He also protested against the attempt to prevent him from attending the forthcoming Conference.
