Chinese Junk, Sunk.
SINGAPORE, October 28th. On arriving in Singapore the captain of the Dutch vessel Tulang Akar reported that during the voyage from Palunhang the pre. vious night his vessel came into collision with what proved later to be a Chinese jank, Singapore D1, IN, when four miles south-west of Tahang lighthouse. The junk, he reported, only showed a light when a collision was unavoidable.
