Drowned In Bangoon River.
RANGOON, October 2nd. A drowning accident occurred yesterday in the Rangoon River, Fri. 21 m 16 when Mr. H. Stevenson, of the
Sat. 237 10 steamer Chakrala, lost his life.
It is reported that the Chief Officer and Mr. Stevenson embark- Sa. 2380 ed in a sampan, with the intention
of proceeding to the shore. The Men. 24 prow of the sampan caught under-
neath the gangway and capsized. Tres, 25 m Mr. Stevenson was carried away by the tide and disappeared.
