With reference to the movement of General Feng Yu Hsiang's army it is learned from a fairly reliable source that General Ferg has des patched two additional divisions of troops to Huitch from Kaifeng, and that he is now concentrating a large body of men in Chengchow. Judg ing from this, it seems that General Feng Yu Hsiang intends to take setion in co-operation with General ren Hsi Shan. CHEFoo, Sept. 27th It is now a year since the Russo- Asiatice Bank went into liquidation. and creditors in North China are wandering in what manner the iquidators have been instructed to Equidate the bauk's affairs.. In every civilized country, the liquida- tors are compelled to observe all the points of the law governing, enforced liquidation, but it scents to be the ease that the liquidation of the affairs of the Russo-Asintić Bank has been left to the whims and discretion of the liquidators, to the chagrin and ingonvenience of certain creditors and to the delight of yet others.

A Remarkable Manner. The liquidation has so far been carried out in a most remarkable manner. For instance, - na one creditor complains. "each branch
