K the Key to

Comfort

The R idea of fout comfort is a shoe that c'aaps the heel and instap snugly but leaves the toes frej to move naturally as you walk. If your abces do not give you this comfort try n plus fiting K, which has extra but unseen toe room, For instance, a plus 4 fitting K has normal heel and ankle, with extra and concealed room for the toes, while a plus 3 fitting has a normal forepart with a reduced heel to fit a slender ankle.

CROWN CASE AND CIRCUMSTANTIAL

EVIDENCE.

Much interest will be centred on the Supreme Court during the next few days where two Chinese are being tried for the murder of Mrs. Rose Mackay, on August 8th, at Chai Wan' Road. The trial opened at the resumed Criminal Sessions yesterday morning, before the neting Chief Justice (Mr. Justice J. R. Wood) and the following jury: Messra. W. J. Morris (loreman). B: Stendall, J. O. McLaggan, G. Wragge, D. R. Kinloch, Lee Chung Chu and P. E. Basketti

Mr. H. Somerset Fitzroy is conducting the case for the Crown, and Mr. H. G. Sheldon, instructed by Messrs. Wilkinson and Grist, has charge of the defence,

Mrs. Mackay, it will be recalled, was attacked on her way home to Taikoo in company with her young newphew, Walter- Eckbert, and fatally stabbed,

The Crown are depending upon circumstantial evidence, but bloodstains on the prisoners' clothing, and the finding on one of the prisoner's of a win half of a forged, mote which Mrs. Mackay had and in her possession before the crime, are some of the points upon which stress is laid.
