SWIMMING TROPHY GOES TO VOLUNTEERS.

THE ARMY SECOND.

The Services Relay Tears Cham- pienship Challenge Cup race which was held ever from yesterday's swimming gala of the South China Comunand Sports Board' was de- cided yesterday. It was felt that it would be a good deal fairer to the Army if the event, took place wher the men were fresh, several of yesterday's events being too strenu ous to permit of best efforts after- wards. It therefore formed part of the Garrison School Swimming Sports meeting.

Hong Kong Volunteer Defence The trophy is presented by the Corps and four teams tcmpsted. the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, the Army, the Navy and the Royal Air Force
