Through freights manifested dur ing the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday were still heavy, although the number of arrivals was smaller than the previous day. Local im ports, on the other hand, slumped considerably.

Silver Line Vessel. Messra. Guthrie & Co., agents at Singapore for the Silver Line Ltd., have received cabled information that the third new Silver Line British vessel Silverguara was delivered to the owners on June 17th after un- dergoing successful trials at which
