Last week's return of notifiable disease in the Colony comprised:--
Small-pox: 6 Chinese cases, all from the city registration district- 4 deaths during the week.
Diphtheria 2 Chinese cases from the city (1 imported).
Enteric lever (typhoid): 7 cases from the city, 2 from Kowloon, total 9 (of which 8 were Chinese and I was an Indian)-3 deaths during the week.
The return for Tuesday shows that there were four cases of typhoid fever and one of small pex. One of the typhoid cases WaB British.
