The season is drawing how to its FOYAL HONG KONG GOLF close, and the Lengues are decided. Several matches, however, still re- main to be played and I think it will be a great pity if the Clubs concerned de not try and play them of. The Indians, K.O.S.B. and R.A. have each two more snatches to manage soruchow, while the Club and Craigengewer have one each. In the Second Division the Indians, Royal Navy and Tarar alone have completed their programunes, but all the rest are only one shy, I boy lieve, with the possible exception of Kowloon C.C

Last Week's Games. The premier game on Saturday last was at Kowloon and the Rest finally turned out a very representa tive team. Hayward, Owen Hughes and Dobbie had an off day, but and Fincher (as usual), Sayer Madar all did well. Goodwin bowl- ed very well, and I am told that Lyar's 14 overs for 42 rather mia- leads a nearly half the runs came from his last over, and I believe he owled excellently though getting no wickets.
Morris, has had no Buccess with the ball unce his sensa tional 5 wickets against the Navy, again came off with his slows, and got out all the three top-scoring batsmen for 2 runs only. Kowloon were pretty shaky nt. the start and adis- Brace alone saved them from aster. He played excellent ctket,

Minu, while the ba ting of the Rest was simply nor existent. I am surprised one or twe more Kowloon men were not on the side,
which seemed to sacrifice everything, in selection, to bowling.
Friendly Games,
I have been particularly struck this season by the increase in the number of Hong or Firm gazen. Last Saturday the Electric Co., to whose cleven I have previously re. ferred in these notes, managed to produce two complete sides at Boo konpen, where the Town Office beat North Point 139 to 145 And very nice too!

Only four of the regular Civil Service side turned out against a useful side from the fermes and the second team filled the gaps, and quite usefully too. Brewerton, Garzon, Brookman and Sparkes all
