TRIBUTES PAID TO FORMER SCHOO!MISTRESSES.
A SATISFACTORY YEAR'S WRK.
Yesterday at the annual prize distributionof the Diocesan Girls School, Kowloon, two photographs of foer mistresses of the school were unveiled by Mra. M. K. Lo. Thphotographs were those of Miss Ferguson and Miss Dulmage, anbefore the unveil- ing, the Rev. Copley Moyle paid a warm tributto the good work done by these two ladies. Miss Ferguson wathe former head- mistress of the school, who died in 1995. Misoulmage was lent to the school by the Canadian Presbyterian Maion in the place of Miss Ferguson. She died on September of th same year. As a minute mark of respect to the memory of these twoadies, one silence was observed.

Following this, the pupils of the school entertained the audience with songs and piano solos. The Rev. Copley Moyle during an inter val expressed the regret at the coming departure of the. Rev. and Mrs. Lindsay. He said that whea Mr. Lindsay goes the school will lose one of its most able workers und advisers.

It is with much diffidence that I present this, the 27th, report on the work of our school. We began the year with 109 en the roll and closed with 211, and to-day we have 238 of whom 40 are boarders It was in March last year that I said the passing of Miss Ferguson in the year 1993 would leave its mark on the D.C.S. and now I feel that 1926 has been equally vital in the school's history. Miss Dulage of the Canadian Presbyterian Mission, who had been lent to as by her mission committee to act as Headmistress board, was appointed by the school while I was on furlough. As most
