PIONSHIP. ANOTHER HAT TRICK."

Kowloon consolidated their posi. tion at the top of the First Division of the League Tablo or Saturday, when they beat the Royal Artillery in their final League match of the season. The result was not unex. pected and on the run of the play, not only in Saturday's match, bas Kowtoon throughout the season, deserved to win. They are to be congratulated on their achievement! after an unusually interesting sen

son..

Two other matches were played in the First Division. The Civil Ser- vice Cricket Club and the Hong Kong Cricket Club on the fermera ground had a very exciting tussto the visiting team requiring only 3 runs. to win when stumps were drawn. The Chinese and Craigen. Bewer settled the holding of the wooden spoon, and in a low scor- ing match, the Chinese scoured the unwanted and imaginary trophy.

The Hong Kong Cricket Club second string secured another three points at the expense of the Royal Navy and now leave the lowest position, in the table which they. have been occupying since the be gizning of the season.

In a friendly match between the the Civil Club de Recreio and Service second eleven, Robertson- (C.S.C.C.) did the hat trick" ati the end of the match,

Taikoo and Ewo met in a friend- ly at the Chinese Recreation Club ground, the former winning. "The scores of the different matches follow:-

Several gaps were then made in the stands as the China supporters began to leave.

Suen Kum Shun scored for China with a high shot and that was the last goal of the match. Scotland thus winning by Ave goals to two.

The game was keenly contested but Scotland belded the better side.. The middle line in Murdoch, Me Bride and Farlow had a lot to do with the defeat of China and Scot- fand had a find forward line out, four of them scoring while Orr, the Kowloon player, had a doable. The backa played well while Rodger in gcal was very safe. Murdoch was a great acquisition to his side and we hear that he has played for the Army in England.
