There was a big crowd at the meet on Sunday at Sheung Shui Polica Station at 9,45. Hounds were thrown in at the foot of Telegraph Gap and the foothills towards Ewanti were drawn resulting in a alow run of about three miles. Cast ing back on the opposite side of the range & line was run to the top of Telegraph Pass where a fox was riowed away in the direction of Montague Ridge. With the pack in fall'ery he crossed the military patro) road and ascended the ridge where gain the submit he stopped
to rest till hounds were but a few 133.47 yards away.. Running the length of 6638 Montague ridge' be awung down the hill, recrossing the road and head- ing up the Telegraph Gay Valley, On nearing the gap ho turned right and mounted the bill at an almost precipitous point up which hounds and huntsman followed with diffi- culty. Hounds ran the line back to where Reynard had been originally off Sheung Shui, followed by 3 couple of hounds and Mr. Bousfeld whilst the remainder of the pack with Mr. A. H Potts carried on after the original for it again headed for Montague Ridge and ran practically the same line. The draw at the Easma Club re- About half way along the ridge the aulted as follows:

The annual match between the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank and the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China took place over the old course at Fazling on Sunday, a very keen and interesting tussle ending in the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bonk winning by one and a half points.
Entries for this event have now closed, and a record number have been obtained the majority of the competitors are from His Majesty's Forces, and number in all very nearly 70. There are 25 from the King's Own Scottish Borderers.

A VERY ENJOYABLE VISIT.
In the morning, the Chartered Bank secured a lead of three points.. but they were only able to win one of the four foursomes, this being obtained by Ferguson and Christie, who had a very hard fight with Moncrieff and Black, the game end- ing at the last green.

VOLUNTEERS TROUNCE COMBINED LEAGUE.
On the Hong Kong Cricket Chib ground yesterday afternoon the Defence Hong Kong Volunteer Corps easily beat a weak team drawn from the Combined League.
Batting first, the winners kept. their opponents busy leather hit- ing and finally declared at 940 mins for 3 wickets.
H. Owen Hughes,
67, and Mitchell, 79, were the chief. contributors. They then dismissed the Combined League for $1 runs. Cap Dobbie, 31, was run out by
