ST. ANDREW'S YOUNG MEN. PREPARATIONS FOR ANNUAL

MARATHON RACE.

Preparations are well advanced for the annual marathon race at Kowloan, which will be held thin year, as usual, under the auspices of the St. Andrew's Young Men's Club. The date fixed is Mondayi March 7th, and the start will be from the St. Andrew's Church Hall, Nathan Road. The course will be as last year, to Kowloon City via Ho Mun Tin and hack to Nathan Road vid Rung Hem, Chatham Road and Middle.

Silver cups will be awarded to the first three competitors, and these will be presented after the rate, in the Church Hall. The entrance fee is $1. Last year there were 33 entries, 29 starters, and all except two finished. The winner's time was 34 minutes 54 seconds, six seconds faster than the time of the year be fore.

A record number of entries is ex- pected this year, owing to the greater number of Naval and Mili- tary men in the Colony.
