Club House.
The Club buildings are in a fair state of repair though the roof needs re-tarring and the dressing room, boat house and gymnasium need repainting, but considering the state of the Club's finances, we do not recommend more than tar- ring the roof, and such painting and varnishing as is necessary for the preservation of the building. The slight subsidence which has been taking place since the building was built seems practically to have ceased.
The buildings seem to be entirely free from white ants, but constant vigilance must be maintained.
The Club narrowly escaped hav- ing the gallery along the west side of the bath condemned as unsafe, and the thanks of the members are due both to Mr. R. M. Dyer for executing the necessary repairs at practically cost price, and to Mr. 10. J. Cooke.
