The cruisers, who sailed their last Championship race just month ago, will hope for more wind to the West of Hong Kong Island and less to the South of Lamma than they had last year.. BATTING AND BOWLING AVERAGES,
Most of the Club în both divisions have now-played more than half the number of matches and the figures in the averages can, therefore, be taken to be representative of the form of the diferent players for the current season.
For consistent batting, Bayer (C.8.0.0.), Hayward (H.K.C.C.), Rumjahn (University), and Namany (K.0.0) can be placed above others in the first division. The bowlers have not, so far, been very successful. The fine weather and the hard ground have by means helped them. Mention must, however, be made of Godwin (K.0.C.) and King (CSCO).
No
In the second division, intersat in the averages becomes greater oach week. There have been many changes in the leading positions in batting and it is expected that the struggle there will be very keen. More names appear in the bowling in the second division than in the corresponding list in the first
