The large attendance of parents, friends and visitors quite filled the hall at the Canossian Institute Italian Convent School, Caine Road, last evening, on the occasion of the annual distribution of prizes. The school has now over 400 pupils.

The Entertainment,
Prior to the distribution of prizes, a delightful entertainment was pre sented by a number of the older pupils of the School. The perform- ance reflected the highest credit on their ability, and the young per formers without exception took their parts with charm and grace.
The play, which was entitled The Magic Cup," has as its act- ting an island in the Caribbean Sea, where a King, the Princess, his duughter, Court, subjects and fairies, lead a happy, carefree life, by reason of the magic qualities of the water in the Cup. The Cup is stolen, nad how it is recovered by a British man-of-war captain who falls in love with the Princess, waa portrayed in a series of scenos re plate with song and music to the delight of an enthusiastic audience
