Information has been received that the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Company have secured an border for the building of a vessel for the Bank Line. The craft is to be used in the Straits Home trade and will be 918 feet in length, feet beam, with a moulded depth of 0 feet 6 inches, and will have a { speed on trial of nine knots.
