NOTICE.
THE Government of the Straits Settlements
is prepared to consider Applications for the Issue of a Lease of a pince of Orown Land OF PEVAND HILL for the purpose of erecting a HOTEL
The Site has been levalled and is about 5-4,000 eq. ft. in area. It is situated about 350 yards from the Top Station of the Penang Bill Rail- way at a height of about 1,400 feet above sea Jarel.
The Lease will be for a Term of 99 years and
will be $100 per annum. then be a condition of the Lease that the Lenee agrees to erect a Hotel within a Period of Three Years in secordance with Plans which have already been approved by the Government of the Straits Settlements and that failure to obearra this condition will entitle the Govern- ment to re-enter and resume possession of the Land.
The Lessee will also be required to enter in- to Bond in the sum of $10,000 for the obser Tance of the above condition,
