HONGKONG SHIPPING.

WEEK-END STATEMENTS.

During the 24 hours ended at 9am. on Sunday, the total freight entered for Hongkong was 6,440 tons of general cargo, and out of this amount 11, tons were carried in British vessels. The best return was 1,198 tons brought from Bangkok by the Chinhua, a British boat.

Cargo for ports beyond totalled 32,400 tons, out of this only 915 tons were gon- The best veyed by a British steamer. returas were 8,517 tons on the Halome Maru, from Calcutta and Singapore, and 3,500 tons on 8,8. Saarbruecken, à German liner from Japan and Shanghai.

For the period, ended & am. yesterday," cargo for Hongkong totalled 18,074 tons; out of this amount, 9,206 tons brought in by British vessels; the Takada, from Yokohama and Amoy car- ried 1,690 tons, and the 8.3. Kweishow, a coastal vessel of the B. & S., from Tientsin and Chefoo, brought 3,230 tons.

The two best returns were 4,543 tons from the Dutch boat Tjisonduri, from Batavia, and 3.905 tong on the Harunasan Mars from Japan.

Cargo on boats passing through Hong- kong for ports beyond showed a total of Ca4-14,138 tona. The Takeda had 2,671 tons, the Tjinundari 3,369 tons and the Hakone Varu 6,105 tons.

Dutch str., 4,309 tons, Capt. Tjisarven Armbeck, from Shanghai, which port she left on Nov. 19th, with general merchandise, lying at buoy No. 48.-J.CJ.L.
