The P. O. 1.3. Dernoho left Singa- pore "for Hongkong yesterday at 10 a.m., and is due here on the 27th inst., at about 6 n. m.
SHIPPING NOTES.
At the Marine Court yesterday morn ing, a fine of $10 was imposed on the master of a junk, who pleaded guilty to unlawfully attempting to leave the waters of the Colony,
For possessing opium and utensils for the purpose of smoking it on premises at Limehouse, Ah Chow was at Thames. Police Court fixed "20s., while Chong Mok, Pow Sang, Cheng On and Wong You, a similarly charged, were re- manded.
The Dollar liner President Lincoln arrived yesterday morning from Manila and brought a cargo of 50 tons, 6 bags of nail and 23 first-cabin passengers for- Hongkong. The Linen will sail for San Francisco rid Shanghai and Japan to-morrow morning..

From Amsterdam and Manila the Dutch steamer Semalver arrived Thursday afternoon with a cargo of 175 tons of discharge here. The Semalper encountered very rough weather on her way. from Manila to Hongkong, when Bear Formosa Channel.
With a cargo of 1,037 tons of rice and 350 tons of general merchandise, the s.s. Kingyuan arrived on Thursday after noon from Bangkok. The Kingyuan, will sail for Amoy on October 28th at 3 pim.
The Chinese stearner Pug Bang arrived yesterday morning and brought 320 tons of general cargo and some firestock for discharge here.
From Amoy, the American steamer West Prospect arrived on Thursday afternoon with 17 tons of general cargo and livestock for discharge here. The West Prospect sailed this morning for Saigon.
Two steamers of the China Navigation Co. Ltd., arrived on Thursday afternoon from different. ports. The s.s. Kiung chow with a cargo of 270 tons and six bags of mail came from Holbow and the 6.5. Kanchou brought 607 tons of general cargo and 44 bags of mail from Shang- hai and Amoy The Kinngehow will sail for Amoy had Singapore on October 24th, at daylight, and the Kanchow, hound for Antung, will sail also on October 24th.
