The second annual swimming gala

under the auspices of the Garrison He ercation Club was held at the R.AS.C. Camber in delightful weather yesterday afternoon. It proved a great success.

There was a large attendance of officers, and of all ranks of the local command; while, there were also many present from the Navy, as well as wives, children and friends of members of the garrison.

Everything tended towards the success. of the gala, the weather proving kind attracted the good attendance, and the aquatics themselves proved exceptionally interesting and entertaining. Some very fine swimming was witnessed. All the events were very keenly contested and, as will be seen from the results, some very good times were recorded.
