Wilfrid Rhodes, the famous England and Yorkshire cricketer, gave a broad- cast address on cricket from 2 L O on August 25th.

With reference to the annual report of the Dairy Farm, Ice and Cold Storage Company, which appeared in our issue on Saturday, we understand that the books will be again closed on 31st Decem ber, which, in the future, will be the end of the Company's financial year,
