Uf the cargo for Hongkong on Satur- day British vessels brought 5,885 tons, the remaining 308 tons being brought in four vessels under other flags. The best entry wes,4,000 tons and the next best 1,700 tons. Of the freight for ports beyond, a British vessel carried 396 tons and a steamer of other nationality 7,097 tons.
