The meeting of the Legislative Council, held this week, was of considerable interest to the citizens of this Colony. We have to thank two new members the Hon. Dr. Koch and the Hon. Mr. D. G. M. Bernard-for bringing to the notice of the local Government, in an

official manner of which there is now ade- quate record, certain facts which have been freely discussed by the general public during the past four or five weeks.
