Bright weather favoured the Anal match of the All Filipino baseball stars at Happy Valley. yesterday when, for the third time they inflicted a signat defeat of the locals, the All Hongkong aggregation, by fourteen runs to ano.
As anticipated, the match was the best in the serica and was very interesting at every stage. Owing to gathering dark ness, the game. was curtailed to one of six innings instead of nine.

A dramatic interruption, followed by. scene of confusion, occurred at the finish of the Donkey Derby," in which twenty of the foremost jockeya rode for a silver challenge cup at the Roman Catholic Fête at Pinner on July 3rd.
The race was won at a great peace by C. Smirke on Moti Mahal, a lively little f donkey from Bayswater. As Smirke passed the winning-post he was stopped by Inspector Beesley, of the National Equine Defence League, and accused of stabbing his mount with a safety-pin during the race.
