The Rev. J. Horace Johnston presided a well-attended meeting of the Committee of the Kowloon Residents' Association last week, Mr. F. J. It was also agreed to draw the atten- tion of the 'Bus Companies to the fact that their workmen frequently occupy one or more of the very few frat-class seats in the 'buses.

Turning to the question of bathing facilities on this side of the Harbour, the Committee received a very careful report from its sub-committee, most of whose recommendations were adopted. It was decided to write to the Govern ment in order to lay before it the follow ing proposals :--
