Of the cargo for Hongkong, the two British vessels brought 2,102 tons, one entry being for 1,522 tons. Vessels under other dags brought 2,533 tons. with 1,500 tons topping the list. Of the freight for ports beyond, British ships carried 7,870 tons, the entries being 4,070 tons and 3,900 tons. Other vessels carried 11,990 tons, with 9,718 tons the highest.

The RMS. Empress of Canada arrived at Shanghai on July 11th at 1:20 P. left on July 12th at 2 p.m., and is due nt Kobe on July 14th at 4 p.m.

The BL and Apcar Line .s. Shirala left Singapore for Hongkong on the afternoon of the 10th inst, and is due to here on the afternoon of the 15th

The Australian-Oriental Line, Ltd.'s Taiping arrived in Manila on the morn. ing of July 12th, and is duo in Hong. kong on the afternoon of Thursday, July 16th.

The Ben Line s.a. Benalder, from Laith, Antwerp, London, Straits and Philippines, is due to arrive here-to-day (Tuesday).

The total number of deck passengers entered for the twenty-four hours ended at 8 am yesterday Was 2,062, of which the...Ho Sang. (British) from Calcutta and Singapore carried 916; the 5.5.
