[FROM OUR CHINESE CORRESPONDENT]
With the exception of the Chairman ship of the Political Commission of the Kuomintang in Canton, General Chisng Kai Shek is now chief of all the principal Kuomintang committees. He was elected Chairman of the Kuomintang Central Executive Committee, the most import ant body in the Party, on Wednesday on the resignation of Mr. Chang Ching Kiang. who could no longer retain the position owing to lack of support. Being Chair- man of the Kuomintang and also Com- mander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy, General Chiang Kai Shek's position now is similar to that of the late Dr. Sun Yat Sen-with this exception, General Chiang has an army to command whereas Dr. Sua had practically no army at all General Chiang Kai Shek will receive the congratulations of his comrades and fellow committeeinen at a formal gather
