SHIPPING NOTES.

At the Marino Court yesterday, before Licut.-Commander G. F. Hole, BN., two boatmasters were each lined 10, or ten days' hard labour in default, for using bright lights at Kowloon Bay for the purpose of fishing without hav- ing them effectively shaded.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Coronation of His Majesty King George V. on Tuesday, a salute was fired from H.M.S. Tamar. This ship and other Floot Auxiliaries in port, flow masthead flags only, in accordance with the regulations, in honour of the occasion.

The total number of deck passengers entered for the twenty-four hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday was 2,241, of which the 8. Tilawa (British) from Calcutta and Singapore, tarried 1,147; the 8.8.
