The League Matches still continue to be ¦ interesting and, last Saturday, many close Anishes wero recorded. Civil Service "B" were down again for the second tims this season by, the smallest possible margin and the M.B.K., at present load. ing in the "B," won by T games only.
The Chinese Recreation Club scored a very creditable victory over the Indian Recreation Club winning by 19 gamea in the most important match of the day, All their six playera were in good form and were seen to advantage in the second round when they virtually swept their opponents off the courts, and what pro- mised to be a hard struggle at the start looked cortain victory for them, at the end of the second round when they aggre- gated 43 games.
The United Services registered their second win at the expense of Hongkong Cricket Club who are still without pointa.

Played on the Cricket Club ground, game throughout the match and did well Club da Roercio winning by 55 games to in the first round being only one game down. Scores in favour of 'C.R.C. 17-16. The Chinese came into their own in the second round and showed distinot superiority over the Indians winning all three sets and securing no less than 20 games out of the 33. They gave an ex- hibition of forceful tennis not expected of them by their opponents who appear- ed to be nonplussed against such good play. The Indian players continued to play perseveringly despite their reverse and succeeded in winning the third round by ons gamo.
