A full programme of Lawn Bowls League games was played on Saturday Samways afternoon. As on the previous Saturday, Williamson a feature of the results was that most of

MaKeller R W. Leo the losers were heavily defasted, five out of seven games having double figure wins.

Baker The Craigengower Cricket Club won Glover. both their matches; defeating the Handerson C.8.0.0. away, in the First Division, and McTavish Taikaa at home in the Second Division.

The Bowling Green Club Jost to Taikoo; while Kowloon Dock just succeeded in winning against the Police.

In the Second Division, the K.C.C. and the East Point R.C. managed to maintain their unbeaten record, defeating the 0.5.0.0. and the LR.C. respectively by handsome margins. The "Babes," of the League, Club de Becroio, suffered defeat on their own ground, against 'the, Yacht Club, who incidentally registered their

first win this season.

The only two clubs who have not yet secured a win in the League are the Eow- loon Bowling Green in the First Division and the Indian R.C.. in the second.

NEW YORK, June 12th The triumphal reception arranged on Jesse Sweetser's return from Great Britain on board the Cunard liner Aquitania had to be abandoned when it was learned on arrival of the steamer that the amateur golf champion was auf- fering from preumonia and will not be able to play again, this year.

LONDON, June 11th. Rain has interfered with practically all the county matches which were start- ed on Wednesday. The following are the results of matches not previously tele- graphed :--

CAMBRIDGE AND NOTTS DRAW.

The match between Cambridge Univer sity and Notts at Cambridge was drawn. The scores were

Playing at Horsham, Sussex gained a first-innings advantage over Gloucester. The scares were :-
