Sir P. Cunliffe-Lister (President of the Board of Trade), in a debate in the House of Commons on April 29th, said that last year we were doing, rather less than our pre-war share of the export trade of the world. In 1913 we were doing about 13 per cent, and last year about 11.9 pertinent in the morning.
